Here’s a fresh take on mid-century style.  The cocktail table’s solid walnut base is held together by mortise and tenon joinery and supports a 1/2” clear glass top with rounded and polished edges.

The basic 1950s design was published by Mario Dal Fabbro, but is custom-sized and its construction features ever-so-slightly more delicate dimensions than the original plans.  The wood is finished with hand-applied tung oil to highlight its natural color and grain.
