This is the second upholstered furniture piece that I designed from scratch. The goal of the project was a more elaborate upholstered project to fill in some gaps in my upholstery skills. As you can see from the rendering and photos, the finished lounge stayed true to the original concept.

Designed for the discriminating hound, this lounge is the ultimate in style and comfort for any quadruped. This lounge features an alder frame and latex foam cushion, upholstered in Sunbrella fabric for durability and easy cleaning. The fabric on the cushion and back bolster can be easily removed for laundering.

The lounge is specifically sized for Zeke and Ulla, the two dogs who will use it. It may look like these hounds spill over the sides--because they do. Strangely enough, both dogs seem to like hanging their head and legs off the sides, so the lounge was designed to be used exactly how they like to lounge on it.
