This is my first attempt at bending wood. It is a bent lamination of Claro Walnut with a 3form “Bear Grass” bottom and Purpleheart handles. The tray was designed by Jere Osgood and the plans were then published. I started the project at Northwest Woodworking Studio when I was taking their class on bending wood. In class I got as far as making the bending forms, the rest was done later in my shop.
I hope to do more projects of this sort of my own design in the near future.
